I was recently invited to put together a music video for The Hollowmen--one of Des Moines' very best bands back in the 80s. Somehow, their debut EP didn't get much distribution here in the US back then, and instead got a bigger push in the UK. The master mix has recently been found, spiffed up, and newly released here at last. The six songs on it sound great--if you bought their albums way back when, this EP makes a great addition to that body of work: great lyrics, great tunes, and expert production by my old pal Mike Lawyer out at the original Indianola location of his South River Recording studio.
