The Des Moines Rehabbers Club has an annual list of "Seven Worth Saving"--endangered buildings and locations around Des Moines that are neglected, in danger of demoltion--and of historical interest. This year, they are presenting a series of videos to inform the public with more details and historic context of these areas, with the intention to raise awareness and help save these places before it is too late to do so.
They are a great organization--their tours alone are amazing and loads of fun--and I've been very happy to help them on their mission. Keep an eye out for the rest of the series!
